Always tired!!! 😞

ive been taking my meds for several months. My hair stopped falling out in clumps and my body aches have decreased dramatically! However, I’m always so tired. Are there things a person can do to ease the tiredness? I’m trying to walk 10,000 steps each day and I get to just over 5,000 with little to no energy left. Do I push harder? Sincerely, Soooo tired!😞

I wouldn’t push it unless you are feeling it. Stressing the body to do what it doesn’t want to do makes Lupus worse. I worked, raised kids, worked stressful jobs, then got married-I won’t say which was more stressful, I won’t. Only go hard if you are really feeling it. Otherwise, learn how to rest the best way for you. I write and meditate. When I feel like I can’t move, I just stretch. And chill of course.

I don't know that there is a way around tiredness. You just kind of get used to your new normal. Pace yourself and do listen to your body

I wish there was a way around the fatigue. I slept for 10 hours last night, then fell asleep about 3 hours later for another 3 hours. I hate this.

I’m getting better with being tired all the time. I’m taking Zumba 2X’s a week and increasing my Kefir and Proteins. Loosing weight and feeling more energized.

Do not push yourself. You will regret it. The fatigue never goes away. I have had lupus for 35 years now. Some days I have a little more energy than others, some days less. Listen to your body or lupus will make you pay. I wish I had better news.

Respect your body. If it wants to rest, then rest. You'll get frustrated if you do otherwise. Plus the symptoms would just worsen.

I do yoga and pilates 6 days a week. Some days the pain is too much for yoga but I can go to a reformer class and be better after. I also take tons of supplements and eat a vegan diet. The struggle is real tho.
