I know I'm late, but I've lost my hair to Methotrexate for Lupus and 2 more times since diagnosed in 2005.
I didnt know about prenatal vitamins, that ANYONE can take them. My hair dresser in Charleston suggested and my Rheumatologist said "finally, someone with a brain".
I was taking biotin forever. As soon as I started prenatal, my hair was back and fast. This last time I lost in after a terrible time in the hospital for 2 months. Stopped taking it. I have IPF now.
I lost it in Feb and it's back thicker and more Curley. I am just waiting on the length! I got most of it back by July.
Prenatal is great.
