Involvement of lips during flare

Wondering if anyone experiences sever ulceration of their lips during a flare? They are beyond painful, feel raw as if they’ve been burnt. Treatment with oral prednisone and topical clobetasol for 4 days has not resulted in any improvement. 
Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated.

    Yes! I wish I was able to post pictures. It looks like I’m wearing lipstick and they BURN like fire

    If you see a dermatologist while your lips are like that (mine get that way too) ask for a steroid shot. It will hurt like heck, but within a day or two your lips will be better. Also, ask for triamcinolone. It's  much stronger than clobetasol. Hope this helps.
