I had my spleen & gull bladder removed when I was 17. They think that's what caused my Lupus but still not sure. I've had to take prednisone all my life. I used to be 5'6'' Now at the age of 37 I'm 5'. All of my vertebres have compact fractures. My upper stomach is stuck out. One dr told me it was hardening of the muscles, another is telling me my organs had to go somewhere when I lost the height so quickly. Has anyone had a similar experience. I have many other symptoms but that's a long story. I just was wondering if any knows what happens with your organs & muscles when u lose so much height with SLE. PLEASE HELP I DO NOT EVER GET TO TALK WITH ANYONE THAT HAS LUPUS.
